A 61-year-old man was killed in the Logan Square neighborhood in Chicago on the evening of May 23. While the Major Accident Investigations Unit is still investigating the accident, the driver of the vehicle that struck the man has been issued two citations.

The 51-year-old driver struck the man on North Rockwell Street. The victim was only a block away from his residence when the accident occurred. It is not known if the victim was in a crosswalk when the
